Anna Sadovnikova, MD/PhD student at UC Davis and co-founder/CEO of LiquidGoldConcept, will be available to give feedback to and mentor students who will present. She first created the LiquidGoldConcept Internship with the explicit goal of inspiring female undergraduate students to pursue research and entrepreneurial careers in the health sciences.

The culmination of the inaugural internship is this Research Symposium, which will spotlight the work that the LiquidGoldConcept interns (Janeet, Florrie, Jessika, and Vanisha) have accomplished.

Because of Anna’s Pipeline Mentorship Officer Position at the UC Davis American Medical Women’s Association, this event has been expanded to include the innovative and exciting research that female undergraduates are doing across the UC Davis and Sac State campuses.

Dr. Shakeri, a radiologist at UC Davis and the faculty advisor for AMWA, is the faculty sponsor for the event.

Barry and Linda Keller have graciously agreed to sponsor the event. Anna first met Barry Keller at a Keller Pathways Fellow luncheon. His commitment to mentorship, entrepreneurship, and empowerment is inspiring and we are honored that he and his wife have agreed to sponsor the event. He has supported the LiquidGoldConcept mission and vision since he first learned about our work at the UC Davis Biomedical Engineering Entrepreneurship Academy in July 2015.

The application cycle for the LiquidGoldConcept summer 2016 internship is now closed. If you are interested in an internship position in the future, please, contact
